Stereophonics

Some Welsh music again!
A Thousand Trees:

Faith No More

One of my fav songs of thiers. for some reason, I couldn't get this one out of my head. Weird lyrics. Ashes to Ashes

This baby's taken from the movie Judgement Night. Classic from 93 with great cast (Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr., Denis Leary, Stephen Dorff, Jeremy Piven, Peter Greene) and great soundtrack.
This one is done with Boo-Yaa Tribe:

Talking about Judgement Night, here's another song from the movie:
Biohazard and Onix - Judgement Night.

Steve Winwood

Another singer with a great voice.
Thisis my favourite song of his. Bloody difficult to sing.
Also, here he is, live (Hulk Hogan does a cameo on the drums).
Higher Love:

Aretha Franklin:

Not to be confused with Uretha Specimen, the little known offspring of a popular and very successful colostomy bag from Ohio State. No, this is Aretha, the marvellous, angellic and yet demonically powerful soul singer that took the world by the balls.
This is my favourite song of hers, from 1971:
Ironically titled 'Don't play that song'

Hootie and the Blowfish

Yes, I have most of their albums. Like them.
Not ashamed of it either. Darius Rucker has a great voice.
Hold my Hand:

Iron Maiden:

Another great song, one of my favourites:
Fear of the dark
(This one's live, in Rio - great stuff)

Bruce Dickinson

Tears of the dragon:

Good song, crap video.

Spacehog

UK band. Liked this song when it came out.

Nice stuff.

Bonnie Tyler

Lovely smoky voiced Welsh lady, from Swansea. Saw her in Sainsbury's Homebase once. Didn't say hello.
Great voice.

Holy sh*t, dude. What a woman!
(and what a jacket)

This was when she was 53. Not bad.

Thunder

What can I say, these guys were one of my favourite bands, during high school.
Needless to say, almost no one else even knew who they were.
Here's a song that was one of their biggest hits.
Love walked in

Man, I know every word and every note to their songs.
bought all their albums (first 3, anyway).
Memory lane. Remember playing this in the living room of my old home, on my parents Midi Hifi system (it was awesome, it had a record deck and a double cassette deck!), laying back on the sofa and singing along.

River of pain

A more recent incarnation of the old rockers. Still has their trademark sound, but a little smoother than their original rock.

Magnum

Anybody hear of these guys?
Hailing from boring old Miltone Keynes in England.
During my university years, I bought a cheap used cassette (yes, people still used cassettes in those days) and from there, I was hooked.
Like their sound.
So many times, I'd listen to their music on my Aiwa walkman (can I say that? - perhaps yes, becuase now Sony have bought Aiwa), walking the streets of Swansea, late at night. But not in a creepy way.

Here's one video I got from Youtube: Broken arrow.
Not their best song, but gives a good idea of their sound.

Vigilante: 1986. Getting on a bit.
Can't quite get it up anymore (talking about those high kicks).
They can still do it, though.

Days of no trust: Dodgy quality, but this is the only clip I could find of my favourite song of theirs.
